UUID generator

A UUID is generated when the page opens. Choose the quantity or click "Generate UUID" to create another one.

How it works

  • The UUID is generated on the server and is not stored anywhere.
  • The generator creates a version 4 UUID, based on random numbers.
  • The UUID follows the 8-4-4-4-12 format, with hexadecimal characters.
  • The chance of generating the same UUID twice is, in practice, zero.
  • The latest generated values are listed below the button until you leave the page.

Query parameters

quantity
Optional. From 1 to 50. When set, the response has the "uuids" list instead of "uuid".
