License plate generator

A Mercosul plate is generated when the page opens. Choose the quantity and the format, or click "Generate plate" to create another one.

Format

How it works

  • The plate is generated on the server and is not stored anywhere.
  • The Mercosul format has three letters, a digit, a letter and two digits (ABC1D23).
  • The old format has three letters and four digits (ABC-1234).
  • The plate is picked at random and may match a real vehicle; use it for testing only.
  • The latest generated values are listed below the button until you leave the page.

You can integrate the license plate generator into your app through our REST API.

Query parameters

format
Optional. "mercosul" (ABC1D23) or "old" (ABC-1234). Default: "mercosul".
quantity
Optional. From 1 to 50. When set, the response has the "plates" list instead of "plate".
